Hi Sharks – Important notes for this week below.  Please also check the team site – www.rivershyresharks.com – regularly for the latest updates and for Meet rsvp and volunteer slot sign-up.

Practice

• Monday, May 14^th – this practice will be a dryland / conditioning practice only, please have your swimmers wear sneakers to practice.
• Tuesday – Thursday – we expect to get in the pool each of these days, but may also continue to do some dryland, so please have swimmers wear suits and have sneakers available.
• Please enter the pool from the gate by the tennis courts.

Registration – all payments, forms and birth certificates due by Thursday, May 17^th

• Please drop off outstanding liability forms, payment and birth certificate copies (if first year swimming on Rivershyre and didn’t swim for a different Gwinnett County swim team last summer) at the registration table at practice.
• We must have all registration items by Thursday, May 17^th in order to register your swimmer as part of the team on Saturday the 19^th.

Volunteer sign-up & new Volunteer Coordinator

• Volunteer slot sign-up is now open on www.rivershyresharks.com for Mock Meet and our first Meet against Youth Swimming, please go to the site and select your preferred slot.  Reminder – the Volunteer commitment for the season is Mock Meet (if your swimmer is participating) plus 4 other ½ Meet sessions during the season.
• We’re testing out the volunteer sign-up system on the new site.  Once we see how it works and make any adjustments needed, we’ll open it up for sign-ups for the remaining Meets.
• Terri Tran has graciously agreed to be our Volunteer Coordinator this season, thank you Terri!

Parent Meeting – Sunday, May 20^th

• New and returning parents, please attend the Parent meeting Sunday, May 20th - either the 6:00 pm or 7:00 pm session.  We’ll share information about some changes this season plus some quick basics for new families and have a Q&A.

Team suits

• If you ordered a team suit at registration or through the Swim Atlanta swim shop link for our team, it will be available for pick-up at practice this week.
• Suits can still be ordered at the reduced fee from the Swim shop or your can purchase them online from any vendor your prefer.
• If you need help with suit sizing, we’ll have a sizing kit available at the registration table at practice this week.
