A mid-week update as we head into this Thursday's Mock Meet:

1. Concessions donation – instead of the traditional 1 drink pack per swimmer donation, this season, we’re requesting 1 drink or snack set or a $5 donation per family. Please use this Sign-up Genius link to select your preferred item. Please drop your donations off at practice in front of the pool shed or at the Mock Meet check-in table. These items will be sold as concessions during the Meets, raising funds to offset this year’s team expenses. Your donations are appreciated!

2. Team shirt clearance sale –we’ll be selling/giving away prior year’s Sharks shirts at Mock Meet. There’s lots of shirts in youth sizes. Stop by the check-in table to see if there’s a shirt there that fits your swimmer. Donations appreciated, but not required. All shirts remaining will be given to Goodwill. (Related note – we’re hoping to hand out 2021 team shirts next week and will be opening the team spiritwear store then as well.)

3. Meet volunteer masks now optional – based on the continued decline in COVID rates, increased vaccinations, and the very low risk of outdoor transmission, the team board met and agreed to change the Meet volunteer mask policy to optional. Please be extra cautious – if there’s any chance you’ve been exposed to COVID or if you’re feeling unwell in any way, do not report for your volunteer assignment, just let us know you’re not able to participate and we'll fill your spot.

4. Swimmer chairs for bullpen – the team is not allowed to use the pool furniture during Meets as it too often gets damaged. Please send your swimmer with a chair for their use in the bullpen area.

5. Meet parent viewing area – Mock Meet parent viewing areas will be:

• The wooded area above the pool – chairs allowed, keep distance from others as possible
• A standing corridor inside the gate along the near fence – please rotate in and out based on when your swimmers are racing. Chairs can be setup in the pavilion area for use when your swimmer is not racing.

6. Lost & Found and Suit Exchange - the team Lost & Found and Suit Exchange baskets are at the table just inside the gate. If you have a gently used suit to sell, please put it in a bag with a card with your name and the amount you're selling it for. Those buying the suits, please put payment in the bag for the seller, then take the suit.
