Almost time for the County Meet!  Lots of info below, let me know if you have questions.

Georgia Tech Aquatic Center (aka McAuley Aquatic Center) address: 750 Ferst Dr NW, Atlanta 30318

Tickets – are required for anyone attending other than the swimmer. See Nicole Smith at practice Thursday night to pick up. The number of tickets per swimmer varies by session. Please turn in any you won’t be using so we can hand them out to those who need them.

Parking - Advanced parking purchase option - https://gatech.parkmobile.io/events. Pre-purchase or pay at the gate. Parents, coaches etc. can park in the CRC parking deck right next to the pool. There is also a student parking deck around the corner from the Aquatic Center.

Volunteers: 15-18 participant parents: we need 2 volunteers to work security during the Friday session. Check-in time is 3:30 pm (swimmers need to be in bullpen by 3:45). If you can’t get there by 3:30, but are willing to help, let me know so we can arrange split shirts. The security job is an opportunity to be on deck during the Meet. The description from the League: NOT responsible for crowd control or assisting spectators find their seats. Will be set up in various areas around the pool deck to ensure parents are not on-deck, to help get items from parents to their swimmers if something is forgotten, and to assist some of the younger swimmers getting out of the pool. (Pool entrance, Staging area, Pool Deck , Warm-up Area, Photo Area, Hospitality, etc.)  Please email [email protected] or text 770-853-9879 if you’re willing to volunteer.

All Volunteers need to fill out the Safe Sport Waiver before going to Tech -https://forms.gle/HsvqhVWUPaHofi4K9. Check-in is at the Volunteer sign-in table.

SafeSport: Due to SafeSport regulations, parents are not allowed on deck at any time (other than volunteers working on deck). Swimmers will be with team coaches and will be reunited with their parents at the end of their session. PARENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE ANY PICTURES OF SWIMMERS ON DECK! Swimmers can take pictures of each other.

Heat Sheets - Will be for sale at the meet for $10 CASH ONLY at the Volunteer check-in table and later at the Embroidery Express room.

Session Days and Times

Friday July 8th, 2022 - Session 1 ( Ages 15 -18)

• Arrive in bullpen by 3:45 pm
• Rivershyre warm up 4:00 pm Lane 2 Main pool
• Start time : 5:30 pm, estimated completion 8:20 PM

Saturday July 9th, 2022 - Session 2 ( Ages 9 & 10)

• Arrive in bullpen by 7:45 am
• Rivershyre warm up 8:25 am Lane 5 Scoreboard pool
• Start Time: 9:15 am, session concludes at approx. 12:30PM
• This session will begin with an "honorary heat" swum by invited swimmers with disabilities.

Saturday July 9th, 2022 - Session 3 (SINGLE Session - Ages 13-14)

• Arrive in bullpen by 1:15 pm
• Rivershyre warm up 1:30 pm Lane 2 Main pool
• Starting Time: 3:15 pm, session concludes at approx. 6:15PM

Sunday July 10th, 2022 - Session 4 (Ages 8 & Under)

• Arrive in bullpen by 8:15 am
• Rivershyre warm up 8:40 am Lane 1 Scoreboard pool
• Start Time: 9:15 am, session concludes at approx. 12:30 pm

Sunday July 10th, 2022 - Session 5 ( Ages 11-12)

• Arrive in bullpen by 1:15 pm
• Warm up: 1:30 pm Lane 7 Main pool
• Start Time: 3:15 pm, session concludes at approx. 6:30PM
