Greetings current and past Sharks – the weeks are flying by and we’re going to be in the pool soon! This is the last email that will include last year’s team members. Register soon if you haven’t yet done so and are planning to return.

Practice starts in 2 weeks, Monday May 8^th – for the first week, swimmers need sneakers in addition to their suits, as we’ll likely do a mix of dry land and in the pool activities, especially for the younger groups.

Meet schedule has been posted on the www.rivershyresharks.com Home page. Meet RSVP and Volunteer RSVP will be open once we have our new parent meeting.

Reminder our 2023 team suit is the TYR solid black suits. Order from the Swim ATL Swim Shop Rivershyre team page to enjoy the discounted pricing they’ve provided. (Team suit remains optional, any solid black or black and white suit is fine for Dual Meets.)

SwimTopia Mobile App will be used again this year for Team Alerts for weather delays/cancellations, signup for meets/events, and viewing volunteer commitments and swim results. Download this app before the first practice to be sure you have the latest updates. (You'll need to know your site login - email and password - to activate the app.)

More certified Stroke & Turn volunteers needed – Meets cannot run without volunteers and we need more Stroke & Turn volunteers! There are two ways to become certified:

1)On-Demand Training – 3 videos to watch which take about 1 hour and 45 minutes with a test at the end. See attachment for instructions.

2)Live Zoom Session on Saturday, 5/20, from 8AM-10AM.
