6/27 Swim Meet at Home vs Edinburgh

    Shark Families,

This week’s meet will be at HOME vs Edinburgh

This week’s meet theme - NEON

Please remember that the pool furniture MAY NOT be used at any time during the meet. You need to bring chairs for yourself and your swimmers.

Since this is the last meet of the season, we will have our senior swim at the end of the first half. If your child graduated from high school this year and you will be at Thursday's meet, please send me send me a highlight blurb that we will read before the senior swim event. Please include things like when they started swimming with Rivershyre, if they swam with their school, plans for after high school, and anything else they would like us to share.

Also, for any families still there at the end of the meet, all of our kids usually get into the pool, play together, and swim for a bit to celebrate the last meet of the season. Please let your swimmers know that they must wait for us to remove the lane lines before everyone can jump into the pool.

Arrival - Please have swimmers arrive by 4:45 to take a team picture before the meet. Please wear a Rivershyre Sharks t-shirt if you have one.

If you aren't able to make the picture, please arrive by 5PM for swimmer and volunteer check-in. Volunteers check-in at the table near the gate on the tennis court side.

Warm-Ups - Our swimmers will warm up from 5:10 to 5:30

Bullpen - Our bullpen is on the pool deck by the baby pool. Please remind your swimmers that they are NOT allowed to get into the baby pool or use any of the pool deck furniture.

Parents Area - Our parents normally sit on the side of the pool deck near the tennis courts.

Concessions - You can purchase concessions with Cash or Venmo (@rs-sharks). We will also have a snow-cone and coffee truck selling refreshments.

Chuck A Duck - for those who were at the Berkshire meet, we have stolen their fundraising idea and will now be hosting Chuck A Duck fundraisers at our home meet. Ducks are1 for $2 or 3 for $5 and will be sold at an outdoor table on the clubhouse deck. Participants will try to throw their duck(s) into a float in the pool and one lucky duck will be chosen from the ones that make it into the float. The proceeds from the fundraiser are split 50/50 (Rivershyre Sharks & the Winning Duck). CASH ONLY for the fundraiser. Chuck A Duck Info
