Thank you to everybody for coming together and ensuring that we had a successful make-up meet on Monday! 

Swimmer of the Week Awards for last week and this week will be held during Monday's practice -6/23. Ribbons from the Edgewater meet, and this Thursday's meet will be ready for pick-up during the Sunday evening practice.

Swim Meet Thursday, 6/19

This week’s meet will be at HOME vs Dacula Dolphins

This week’s meet theme – Neon/Pink Out (historically, the swimmers have sprayed their hair with pink hair dye for this meet)

Senior Swim - if your swimmer graduated this past year, or this is the last year they are able to swim due to their age, please send me a write up about their swimming history, for
example, when they started swimming, how long they have been swimming with
Rivershyre, and what high school they have swam for, as well as their future
plans to be read by our starter at the final home swim meet of the season prior
to their senior swim in the pool.

Swim Team Photo - Thursday, 6/19 - Arrive at 4:50

• A team photo will be taken before the meet on Thursday, 6/19. Please have swimmers arrive at 4:50 to allow time for the photo to be taken before warm-ups start.
• Please wear your team t-shirt if you have one
• Please bring Bubbles for the picture, even if you aren't planning to swim in the Bubbles lap.

Arrival - Please arrive by 4:50 for the team photo and by 5PM for swimmer and volunteer check-in. Volunteer check-in will be at the tent near the pool gate. Swimmers must check IN and OUT at bullpen. Please do not leave the Meet until your swimmer has checked out.

Parking - the parking lot will fill up early, so please plan accordingly. Additional parking is allowed on ONE side of the street (please do not park on the side with the No Parking signs). Please DO NOT park in any spot marked Reserved. We kindly ask all parents and visitors to refrain from parking in designated handicap parking spots unless you have a valid handicap permit. These spaces are legally reserved for individuals who require close access to the facility. Unauthorized use of these spots may result in fines or towing.

Warm-Up - Our swimmers will warm up from 5:10 to 5:30

Bubbles Heat - There will be a bubbles heat to start the meet. If you would like your bubble to participate, please arrive by 5:45.

Bullpen - Our bullpen is on the pool deck by the baby pool. Please remind your swimmers that they need to stay in the bullpen area until they are done swimming. They should not be at the playground or sitting with parents on the deck. Also, swimmers are not allowed to use the baby pool or any deck furniture.

Parents Area - Our parents normally sit on the side of the pool deck near the tennis courts. Please remember to bring chairs for you and your swimmers, as all the pool furniture will be put away and CANNOT be used during swim meets.

Concessions - You can purchase concessions with Cash or Venmo (@rs-sharks). We will also have a snow-cone truck selling refreshments.

Chuck A Duck Fundraiser- Ducks are one for $2 or three for $5 and will be sold at an outdoor table on the clubhouse deck. Participants will try to throw their duck(s) into a float in the pool and one lucky duck will be chosen from the ones that make it into the float. The proceeds from the fundraiser are split 50/50 (Rivershyre Sharks & the Winning Duck). CASH ONLY for the fundraiser. Chuck A Duck Info

Inclement weather: In the event the meet is delayed for weather, please head to your cars and await further instructions. Do not leave the meet!
