We need more certified Stroke & Turn Judge volunteers. Remember, meets cannot run without volunteers, and we need your Help! They have made it extremely easy this year by providing On-Demand Training that you can do at your own pace. Instructions will be sent out shortly.

• Please remember that it is CRUCIAL for all swimmers (except bubbles) to RSVP Yes or No to every meet (this will be discussed at the Parent Meeting - swim meets are not open yet for RSVP)

Important Dates

Friday, 5/1 – Last day to register your swimmer to receive a team t-shirt.

Monday, May 11^th – Practice Starts

For the first week, swimmers need sneakers in addition to their suits, as we’ll likely do a mix of dry land and in-the-pool activities, especially for the younger groups.

Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed/Thurs practice schedule:

• 6:30 - 7:00 pm - beginner session (1 lane only)
• 7:00 - 8:00 pm - 10 yrs and under (3 lanes only)
• 8:00 - 9:00 pm - 11 yrs and older

Wednesday, May 13^th – New Parents Meeting @ 7PM & 8PM

It is crucial for at least one parent from new families to attend this meeting. We will go over volunteer duties, the different volunteer options, and answer any questions you may have. You can come at 7PM or 8PM. Volunteer sessions for the entire season will be opened AFTER this meeting.

Thursday, May 21^st – Mock Meet

This is not mandatory, but highly recommended for all families. This will be a “mini” version of a regular meet and is a great opportunity for kids to experience what a meet is like and for parents to try different volunteer roles.

Thursday, May 28^th – First Swim Meet

Thursday, June 4^th - Second Swim Meet

Thursday, June 11^th - Third Swim Meet

Thursday, June 18^th - Fourth Swim Meet

Thursday, June 1^st – Registration Closes

Thursday, June 25^th – Final Swim Meet

Reminder: Our 2026 team suit is the TYR solid black suit. Order from the Swim ATL Swim Shop Rivershyre team page to enjoy the discounted pricing they’ve provided. The team suit remains optional; any solid black or black-and-white suit is fine for Dual Meets. We also have gently used suits at a discounted price from prior swimmers that can be purchased at practice.

SwimTopia Mobile App will be used again this year for Team Alerts for weather delays/cancellations, signups for meets/events, and viewing volunteer commitments and swim results. Download this app before the first practice to be sure you have the latest updates. (You'll need to know your site login - email and password - to activate the app.)
