    Away Swim Meet, Thursday 6/11, vs Richland Waves

    Shark Families,

    We are looking forward to seeing you at practice tonight for Swimmer of the Week awards.

    Please see below for the information for the AWAY meet this Thursday at Richland.

    I believe there are still a few volunteer positions that need to be filled, so please check the Swimtopia app ASAP and sign up if you are not already.

    Please declare your swimmers attendance in the app before practice this evening.

    If your bubble would like to swim in the bubble meet, please let me know, and please arrive by 5:40 (bubbles lap will be at 5:50).


    Volunteers and swimmers should arrive by 5PM to check-in at our bullpen in the grassy area near the playground.

    As always, please make sure your kids are staying in the bullpen area during the meet so they don't miss any of their events. This is especially important since our bullpen will not be on the pool deck.

    Meet Theme: Hawaiian


    Parking - The Richland pool address is 2074 Quinton Place, Suwanee, 30024. Please have your parents park in either of the parking lots or one side of the street on Laurel Lake Drive as marked. There is a bridge through the woods from the lower lot off Quinton that parents should use to come to the pool (it's shorter than walking along Quinton Place). There is no parking on Quinton Place or Taylor Road. 

    Concessions - We will have Checkers cheeseburgers and burgers, Costco pizza, fruit, chips/popcorn, candy, water, and drinks. We will not sell heat sheets as we use Swimtopia. We take cash, VENMO, or square tap for payments.

    Bullpen - Our team will be in the grassy area by the playground. There are several picnic tables but may want to bring folding chairs or blankets for your swimmers. Your bullpen volunteers can bring your swimmers to the staging area through the gate closest to the playground.
    Spectators - will be on the side of the pool closest to the clubhouse. Please....NO canopy tents are allowed in the spectator area.

    Mushroom Pool - Swimmers are NOT allowed in the Mushroom Pool.

    Swimmers will warm up at 5:30pm. We will have our Bubble race at 5:50pm, please let us know if you have any bubbles that would like to participate.
    As of now, the weather looks ok but if we need to reschedule, the make-up date is Monday, June 15th at 6:00 pm.
