Shark Families,

What a FIN-tastic season it's been! 🦈💦

As we wrap up another season of fast swims, loud cheers, and plenty of poolside fun, we want to send a huge THANK YOU to all our amazing Shark families. We’re so proud of our swimmers and so grateful to our families who made it all possible.

Please take a look below for the remaining team events we have scheduled, as well as information on the county swim meet.

Lily will be sending out an email to all the parents who have swimmers participating in the county meet. The swimmers going to county are the only ones who will continue to have swim practice (besides tomorrow evening, 6/29, when we have swimmer of the week).

If you were not able to fulfill your 4 required volunteer slots during the regular season, we will reach out to see if you can fill any of our required county volunteer slots to help cover your unmet volunteer costs. We will be emailing these parents individually once we have the information for our county volunteer positions.

Sunday, 6/28

Evening practice for all county participants (normal practice times)

Monday, 6/29 – All swimmers invited

Swimmer of the Week awards for the last two meets will be held on 6/29 at 8PM at the pool. There will be NO practice tonight. We will present the awards and then have a "fun swim" until 9PM.

Sunday, 8/2

End of the Season Party

• 7PM-9PM at the Rivershyre Pool
• Awards will be given out from 7:15-8PM
• Cake and treats will be provided
• Free Swim from 8PM-9PM

County Practice Schedule

Evening Sessions - June 28^th – July 9^th

Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed/Thur

• 7:00 - 8:00 pm - 10 yrs and under (3 lanes only)
• 8:00 - 9:00 pm - 11 yrs and older

Morning Sessions (Tuesday Mornings ONLY) – June 30^th & July 7^th

• 8:30AM – 9:30AM – All age groups will swim together on Tuesday mornings during this one time slot.

Friday-Sunday, July 10th-12th: County Swim Meet at Georgia Tech Aquatics Center

MEET SCHEDULE (more info will be sent out later with arrival & warm-up times):

Friday July 10^th

Session 1 ( Age 15 -18)

• Start time : 5:30pm session concluded at approx. 8:20PM

Saturday July 11^th

Session 2 ( Age 9 & 10)

• Start Time: 9:15AM session concludes at approx. 12:30PM
• This session will begin with an "honorary heat" swum by invited swimmers with disabilities.

Session 3 (Ages 13-14)

• Starting Time: 3:15PM session concludes at approx. 6:15PM

Sunday July 12^th

Session 4 (Ages 8 & Under)

• Start Time: 9:15AM session concludes at approx. 12:30pm

Session 5 ( Ages 11-12)

• Start Time: 3:15pm session concludes at approx. 6:30PM
