Join your friends and neighbors for a fun community pool swim benefiting Swim Across America. Every dollar raised supports childhood cancer research in Atlanta, helping fund lifesaving research and clinical trials for children battling cancer.

Event Details
This is a relay-style pool swim, so everyone can participate whether you are 5 or 105! There will be TWO swimming events that swimmers can participate in, both are relay-style pool swims and teams can choose to participate in one or both events. The first relay event is a 100 yard “Float” relay. Teams will either purchase or build their own floating vessel and be required to complete four laps. Paddles, oars or sails may be used. Motors of any kind are not allowed. For the second and more competitive relay swim, participants will work together as relay teams to complete a 500-yard swim. You decide how much of the distance you’d like to swim, making this event perfect for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Whether you want to swim one lap or several, there’s a place for you on a team! Already have friends or family you’d like to swim with? Great! Create your own relay team. Registering by yourself? No problem! We’ll happily match you with other participants to form a relay team. While this is a race, the focus is on having fun, building community and supporting an amazing cause. Timers will be available to record swimmers time, should they choose to do so, but participation and fundraising are what matter most!

2. Click Register.
3. Select Register as a New Participant.
4. Search for the team name: Splashing for a Cause.
5. Complete your registration and join us on Saturday, September 19!
